About the studio.

My creative journey began in the world of horses, with dreams of becoming a professional equestrian. From Virginia Intermont College to the Savannah College of Art & Design and then Virginia Tech, I explored art but never felt like I truly fit in. It wasn’t until I returned to interior design that I found a spark—yet something was still missing: the tactile act of creating with my hands.

Needlepoint has become my bridge between imagination and reality. It allows me to transform the images in my mind into tangible works of art, one stitch at a time. No longer overshadowed by imposter syndrome, I embrace my dual identity as an artist and designer. I might not “die” for my art, but I’ll fight fiercely for the time I spend with it—because every day is a new beginning.
